Collection & Processing of Personal Data
You may visit our websites at any time without telling us who you are. Our web servers will automatically save information of a generic nature. This includes the type of web browser, the selected operating system, the domain name of your Internet service provider, the source website you use for visiting us, the websites you are visiting on our end and the date and duration of a visit. All of this is information that draws no conclusions in respect of your person. We evaluate this data for statistical purposes and in an anonymous form only.
For our websites, we use a PIWIK open-source analytical tool (www.piwik.org) in order to generate statistical analyses regarding website utilization. PIWIK saves collected data (including, but not limited to, IP address, exact time, site visited, selected browser) into a database. A PIWIK-generated evaluation file is completely anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual persons. Once saved, the data is not linked up with other data sources or forwarded to third parties. Data of this kind is treated in strictest confidence. It is not forwarded to destinations outside of our company or disclosed to third parties, except as required under binding law and, notably, by the competent prosecuting authority.
Personal data represents inventory data such as your name, address, account number, identity card number or telephone number, your e-mail address or IP number. Your personal data is collected, processed or used, incidentally, only if you have willingly placed it at our disposal, if this is permitted by law or you have given your consent. Routinely, this happens when you enter into a business relationship with us or when you direct a query to us.
Utilization & Forwarding of Data Surveys
Personal data which has been made available to us is exclusively used for purposes previously notified to or agreed with you, i.e., typically, to fulfil a contract made with you or to answer your inquiry.
Should you wish to take up our services, typically, only such data will be recorded that we require for rendering a requested service. Further details which you may be requested to add from case to case, will be regarded as provided at your own free will. Personal data will be processed for no other purpose than to fulfil a requested service and to safeguard our own business interests.
Is Personal Data Forwarded to Third Parties?
Your data will not be processed or used for purposes of consultancy, advertising or market research, unless you have expressed your explicit consent. Your data will not be sold, leased out or otherwise made available to third parties. Furthermore, we shall refrain from transmitting personal data to official institutions or governmental authorities, except as stipulated otherwise under mandatory national legal requirements.
