  • What do physicists do at Vistec?

    As a physicist, you can be involved in various activities in our research and development department to provide new technical solutions for the further improvement of our lithography systems. Together with your colleagues, you develop innovative concepts and consistently pursue these to their final implementation. You can choose a technical career path or manage a customer project.

    What can you expect as a mechanics or mechatronics engineer at Vistec?

    Your working place is the manufacturing department. You assemble components and complex systems that are part of our electron beam lithography systems. Testing and initial start-up of these systems are also part of your job. The quality of your work has a major impact on the timely completion of our E-Beam systems. You collaborate closely with colleagues from other Vistec departments.

    Industrial Mechanic

    You are a design engineer?

    You are strongly engaged in the practical implementation of new technical solutions. Ideally, you should have an engineering education and experience in using CAD systems. New technical solutions arise from multi-disciplinary discussions. 

    Design engineer

    Electronics development engineer - what is your job?

    Your team is comprised of about 10 people. Based on agreed objectives, you will design and develop sophisticated electronic modules for our E-Beam systems. You will collaborate with external and internal partners.

    Electronics engineer

    You are a software developer?

    You design, program and test operating and control software that is necessary for the functioning of our electron-beam lithography system. You are always in close proximity to our customers and their demands. Collaboration with external partners is a major part of your job.

    Software developer

    What is the main job of a Service Engineer at Vistec?

    As a Service Engineer, you are in charge of the maintenance and repair activities performed on installed systems at the customer’s site. For this challenging task you can always rely on both the experience and knowledge of your Vistec colleagues as well as on your own skills. Our Service Engineers travel extensively.  Through the quality of their work and as a direct contact person, our Service Engineers contribute significantly to the satisfaction of our customers.
